Three focused specimens connect field repair, task-owned tools, and consumer intent. Each demonstrates a useful component boundary and names the receiving-system work that turns the specimen into a real workflow.

The rounded panels navigate states and recovery, tool panels, and commerce. Everything runs locally in one HTML file with standard system fonts. The specimen uses the Soft Color Blocking contract; the ownership rules apply equally to Industrial Ink.

1 · Recoverable form
Submit the initial partial review reference. The field message supplies the valid form; the summary links to that control; the review note remains intact. Repair the reference using REV-084 and prepare the local packet. This is syntactic preparation in a fixture. The receiving service owns existence, authorization, domain constraints, and durable review standing.[1][2]
Component seam. Pass value, help ID, issue identity, validation result, and an update action into the field. The form owns the summary, submit state, and preserved draft. A service adapter maps structured field paths to stable public control IDs.
Scale question. With nested or repeated fields, how does one stable issue identity join summary, field, screen-reader description, localization, and a server response after the array is reordered? Use stable record identities for field and issue targeting.
Fault and oracle. A server returns a field issue after another value changes. The affected issue resolves to the intended current control, unrelated valid values survive, and the response is applied only to its eligible revision.
2 · Tool panel and modal drawer
Open the tool panel. The reference uses a native dialog: initial focus enters the method control, Escape dismisses it, and focus returns to the invoker. Rehearse controller replacement to inspect the explicit mount/release boundary. A docked inspector uses ordinary document navigation; a modal drawer receives a named modal focus scope and background policy.
Component seam. The caller supplies selected entity, revision, tool purpose, open/close actions, draft persistence, and an invoker/fallback focus route. The controller owns its listeners, timers, subscriptions, and observation resources. Shared resources receive a separate owner.[3]
Scale question. When a route change removes the invoker, what receives focus and which tool draft survives? An inspected entity changing during a modal session also needs an explicit replacement or reconciliation policy.
Fault and oracle. Replace the owner while delayed work is pending. The earlier owner releases its resources; one active binding remains; a late result retains its earlier identity and is eligible only for the matching receiving state. A committed service command continues through its durable receipt.
3 · Consumer and commerce intent
Change the fictional notebook quantity. The local subtotal uses USD 24.00 per item and a quantity range of 1–12. A missing stock observation preserves quantity and asks for a fresh observation. Preparing a local order draft stays distinct from stock reservation, payment, order acceptance, and fulfillment.
Component seam. Keep quantity parsing, price/currency/revision, stock observation, customer draft, and durable command state separate. The service rechecks price, inventory, permission, and revision at the fitting operation boundary. Retry eligibility depends on the command’s semantics.[4]
Scale question. After a timeout, how does the view reconcile the same operation identity before offering a new purchase attempt? Use a server-owned idempotency contract and a durable receipt lookup; preserve the customer’s intent while the outcome is unknown.
Fault and oracle. The service commits, then the response connection drops. A receipt lookup resolves the original operation and the interface presents the bounded outcome. The final record count and durable receipt establish this claim; a button’s disabled state only establishes local interaction behavior.
Implementation handoff
Choose the preset and token binding, identify error and focus owners, state the mount/release scope, define preserved draft lifetime, and declare service command/receipt semantics. Test one plausible fault at each material boundary.
